Wendy was born into the Moravian church. As well as participating in worship leadership, leading the Children’s choir, offering counseling for our members, she also has a major responsibility for facilitating the Canadian District programming. |

Rick often incorporates storytelling into his sermons, plays guitar and sings, and is a Camp director (at Camp Van Es). His most recent focus for ministry has been on spiritual direction. |

Rick and Wendy have been in team ministry since 1986 when they both graduated from Moravian College, Penn. They have served Moravian churches in Alberta (Canadian District) as well as in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin (Eastern and Western District of North American Moravian churches).

Joanne Dyck—Administration and Rentals Joanne works part-time in the church office but is a full-time mom of four children. Please make an appointment with her if you need to rent any part of the church or if you have questions about the events in the church. |

Elders & Trustees of the church—the “Joint Board” |
|
Each January there is held a CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING to elect the volunteer positions to manage the church business. The church has a set of by-laws and is also guided by the Moravian Book of Order. The Elders of the church look after the congregation needs, such as prayer chains, music ministry, visits to shut-ins; the Trustees of the church look after the church facility and oversee financial matters. There are monthly Joint Board meetings and each member of the Board takes on a portfolio for a two-year term. For a list of current Joint Board members and other church leaders, please speak with Rick or Wendy or Joanne in the Church office. |
