GSC Anniversary & Opening Time Capsule May 24, 2009 |

Good Shepherd Church has been at its current location for 30 years (however the Moravian Church has been in Calgary for 107 years). When the church was built there was a time capsule placed behind a granite name plate in the foyer at the front of the church. On May 24th, we opened the time capsule and looked at the contents: letters, lists of names, pictures, maps dating back to 1979 were discovered! Then we not only put back all the contents but added current documents and photos — these will be viewed by people in the future (2039?)
